Keyboard Shortage in Russia and india

Most well-known high-tech companies had stopped shipping their products to Russia or had imposed different sanctions. Thus, problems arose in every field in the country, from smartphones to high-end storage systems, from PC hardware to servers. In fact, there is a shortage of products that you would not even think of : keyboards with Russian keyboard layout.

Major computer manufacturers such as Apple, Dell, HP and Lenovo, as well as peripheral suppliers such as Logitech, have officially stopped doing business with Russia. The country's administration, on the other hand, adopted the 'parallel import' approach, which allows imports in Russia. Thus, distributors who want to buy a PC or keyboard in Russia can now do business with countries such as China, Serbia, Turkey or the United Arab Emirates.

However, there is an important problem here. Laptops, desktop equipment and keyboards from various countries have a different layout. As you know, the letters and the alphabet used are completely different.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade reported that sellers will be able to engrave Russian letters on keyboards in the country, and this will not significantly affect the price of the product. It is possible to engrave letters on an industrial scale on keyboards used in desktop computers. But things are not that easy when it comes to laptops.

Also, for a small or medium-sized retailer, the only way to add Russian letters is to add Russian lettering stickers to the keyboards. Companies that want to carry out such a process have to unpack the product.
