How to Gigabyte Secure Boot Problem Solved? | How do I fix Gigabyte boot loop | How do I enable TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot on Gigabyte? August-2020-2022

The Secure Boot issue on some AMD motherboards from Gigabyte has been known for a long time. I tweeted about the issue last year and also reported the problem to Gigabyte.

Let's talk about the problem first. Secure Boot must be enabled to play Valorant on Windows 11. In order to open Secure Boot on Gigabyte motherboards, it is necessary to turn off CSM. On the other hand, when the CSM is turned off, the video card goes into UEFI mode and sometimes the system may not display. Normally, this problem should be solved with a BIOS reset, but unfortunately this did not help on Gigabyte motherboards. This is why most users have had to send their motherboards in for service. Although there are users who can solve the problem by installing another video card, not everyone has a second video card.

Is Gigabyte Secure Boot Problem Solved?

Today we are testing it with three different graphics cards. For the test, we mounted 3 different video cards on the B450M S2H motherboard with the F63b BIOS version and checked whether we would get an error.

In each attempt, we confirmed from the BIOS that Secure Boot was on and CSM was off, and restarted the system, and we were able to boot the system without any errors with 3 different video cards.
Video cards we used for testing:

RTX 3060 Ti
RX 570
GTX 1080 Ti
At this point, the problem seems to have been solved by Gigabyte, because as of the date of this article, we did not encounter an error with the latest BIOS version, F63b.

If you get a Secure Boot error when you install a different video card on your B450M S2H motherboard, you can try to update your BIOS version. If the problem is not fixed , you can open a topic on techmadar social and get support from other users.
