The latest data on the most popular browsers on different platforms has been shared by Statcounter . According to the July 2022 report, Edge is showing a steady rise in desktop browser market share. Last month, Microsoft's browser reached 10.84%, up 0.2 points from June 2022.
Google Chrome maintains its dominant position with a massive 66.19% market share, which fell 0.74 points in July 2022. Safari is the third most popular desktop browser with a share of 8.94% and Firefox continues with a share of 8.08%.
Even though Microsoft recently brought the end of Internet Explorer 11 , some users can't get away from the former king of the desktop browser market. Statcounter reports that about 0.75% of users still use Internet Explorer.

On the mobile side, Google Chrome fell by 0.72% compared to June 2022 and ranks first with 65.16%. Safari is second with 24.22% and Samsung Internet is third with 4.86%. Microsoft Edge for Android and iOS has not yet entered the rankings.
